Field Marketing Specialist (Events)

About the role

Formlabs is hiring a Field Marketing Specialist (Events) for its largest European office in Budapest. The role owns the strategy, planning, execution and performance of a portfolio of events, with a strong focus on key trade shows and Formlabs-owned events. It works closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Design and Leadership to shape how the company presents itself on major stages.

Key responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of trade shows, from 12sqm to 200+sqm, and develop plans to meet event objectives and milestones
• Lead end-to-end event planning and execution, including pre/post-event campaigns, staffing, booth management and internal enablement for demos and presentations
• Work with design and marketing teams so the event presence reflects the brand and showcases the product portfolio
• Manage budgets, contracts, vendors and logistics, optimising spend and efficiency
• Act as a visible brand ambassador, building relationships with customers, partners and prospects onsite
• Analyse event performance data to improve formats, messaging and attendee experience
• Order and track event inventory such as collateral and giveaways
• Travel about 25% of the time, mainly within Europe, to attend events and support onsite teams

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in event marketing, owning and executing complex B2B trade show programs
• Proven experience managing multi-event portfolios, from small to large-format booths, including planning, execution and reporting
• Experience supporting product launches and evolving product portfolios through events
• Comfortable travelling about 25% of the time

• Strong project management, handling multiple projects, resources, budgets and onsite personnel under tight deadlines
• Excellent written and oral communication and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product and Marketing
• Data-driven approach, drawing insights from event and marketing data
• Creative, proactive and confident, able to act as a brand ambassador
