Social Media and Community Operations Specialist

About the role

Formlabs, a 3D printing technology company, is looking for a Social Media and Community Operations Specialist in Budapest. This hybrid role has a 3-day weekly on-site expectation in the office. The person will act as a bridge between the company's innovation and its global online community, driving the affiliate program, social media operations and presence on specialized professional forums.

Key responsibilities

• Social media content: work with content creators to build editorial calendars that turn complex 3D printing workflows into on-brand content
• SMM system management: run the day-to-day of the social media management tool, including technical setup, tagging and organization of outgoing content
• Manage the administrative side of social media, including UTM link tracking, asset organization and brand compliance
• Grow the presence on Reddit and other industry forums, contributing technical insights
• Structure forum contributions to improve SEO and AEO results
• Recruit and onboard high-profile technical content creators for the influencer network
• Scale the affiliate program by growing the publisher network and placing affiliate links strategically
• Use the automated affiliate platform's features and data to optimize performance from onboarding through to ongoing optimization

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in social media operations, community management or affiliate marketing in a technical or engineering field
• Sound technical understanding of digital fabrication and a genuine interest in 3D printing
• Strong understanding of community management and affiliate marketing
• Excellent English communication; additional EMEA languages are a plus

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook and Reddit
• Strong understanding of SEO and AEO, especially structuring forum content for discoverability
• Experience analyzing social media and community data
