IT Auditor

About the role

HARMAN Corporate is hiring an IT Internal Auditor in Budapest. The role covers the internal controls and risks of HARMAN's technology, including applications, network, infrastructure and other IT initiatives and projects. It involves planning audits, testing the design and operating effectiveness of IT controls, identifying control deficiencies and supporting the creation of internal audit reports.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and evaluate IT-supported business processes for efficiency, quality, risks and compliance with internal and external requirements
• Support financial audits through data analysis and audit of accounting-related internal controls, general computer controls and application controls
• Test controls for design and effectiveness and assess the systems' authorization concept, including risk analysis
• Discuss weaknesses with auditees and recommend remediation actions, advise departments and managers, and follow up on deficiencies
• Compile audit reports and hold final discussions with audited areas
• Monitor and report on the status of IT projects to the Internal Audit Team management

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Economist, Information Technology, Information Systems or Computer Science, with a second major in accounting or business administration
• More than 2 years of post-qualification experience
• Experience at a "Big Four" accounting firm
• Comfortable with risk-based audit methodologies
• Very good spoken and written English
• Willingness to travel, possibly 20% of working hours

Required skills

• SAP knowledge (authorizations, change management, core ERP, SAP GRC)
• MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Good knowledge of MS operating systems, Oracle database and networks
• CISA qualification is an advantage; understanding of IT security standards and applicable laws is also an advantage
