Psychologist - Employee Counselling

About the role

Lyra Health provides mental health solutions for employers, reaching more than 20 million people globally. This psychologist role provides high-quality counselling and information support to employees of client companies by telephone, live chat and structured counselling sessions. It is a permanent hybrid position based at home, with at least one day a week in the Lyra Hungary head office in Budapest, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for employees accessing Lyra Hungary services
• Provide all services to which callers are entitled in a professional and respectful manner
• Capture all information needed for clinical case management on the database
• Follow clinical protocols, procedures and operational standards set by Lyra
• Keep up with developments in client organisations and changes to service offerings
• Attend relevant meetings, training and staff support groups
• Take part in regular counselling supervision with the external counselling supervisor
• Carry out other duties asked by the Clinical Lead

Required profile

• Masters degree in Psychology (essential)
• At least two years of counselling experience preferred
• Postgraduate training for Expert Psychologists in Counselling is an advantage
• Experience in an EAP environment is an advantage but not essential
• Experience of telephone and live chat counselling and support
• Ability to work in two languages, Hungarian and English
