Senior Event Marketing Specialist

About the role

Formlabs is looking for a Senior Event Marketing Specialist to lead the strategy, planning, execution and performance of its trade show and owned event portfolio from its Budapest office. The role works closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Design and Leadership to ensure Formlabs’ presence on key stages aligns with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of trade shows ranging from 12 sqm booths to 200 + sqm exhibits.
• Develop and execute event plans, manage timelines, budgets, contracts, vendors and logistics.
• Lead end‑to‑end event execution, including pre‑ and post‑event campaigns, staffing, booth management and internal enablement for demos and presentations.
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to ensure brand‑consistent event presence and showcase the product portfolio.
• Serve as a visible brand ambassador, building relationships with customers, partners and prospects onsite.
• Gather and analyse event performance data to continuously improve formats, messaging and attendee experience.
• Manage event inventory, collateral and giveaways.
• Travel up to 25 % of the time, primarily within Europe, to attend and oversee events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.
• 5 + years of experience in event marketing, managing complex B2B trade‑show programs.
• Proven track record of handling multi‑event portfolios with booths of varying sizes.
• Experience supporting product launches and evolving product portfolios through events.
• Strong project‑management skills, highly organized and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and oral communication, with ability to collaborate across Sales, Product and Marketing.
• Data‑driven mindset with ability to extract insights from event and marketing metrics.
• Creative, proactive and comfortable acting as a brand ambassador.
