Social Media and Community Operations Specialist

About the role

This hybrid role requires three on‑site days per week in Budapest. Formlabs is looking for a data‑driven storyteller who will bridge cutting‑edge 3D‑printing technology with our global online community, driving social media operations, affiliate programmes and forum presence.

Key responsibilities

• Content Collaboration: work with creators to build editorial calendars and translate complex 3D‑printing workflows into on‑brand content.
• SMM System Management: set up, tag and organise content in the social media management tool.
• Operational Excellence: handle link tracking (UTMs), asset organisation and brand compliance before publishing.
• Technical Forum Engagement: grow Formlabs’ presence on Reddit and specialised industry forums, providing technical insights.
• SEO & AEO optimisation: structure forum contributions to improve search and AI‑driven answer visibility.
• Influencer recruitment: identify and onboard high‑profile technical content creators.
• Affiliate programme scaling: expand the publisher network and drive high‑intent traffic through strategic link placement.
• Performance oversight: monitor affiliate performance, use data‑driven insights to optimise results.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in social media operations, community management or affiliate marketing within a technical field.
• Strong understanding of digital fabrication and 3D‑printing technology.
• Proficiency with major platforms – Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook and Reddit.
• Knowledge of SEO and AEO principles for forum and social content.
• Analytical mindset with experience using data to meet strategic objectives.
• Excellent written English; additional EMEA language skills are a plus.
