Senior Software Engineer – C++

About the role

ABBYY is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Vantage engineering team, building and evolving cloud‑native services that power its Document AI platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy features for document processing pipelines, AI skill management, cloud infrastructure and API layers.
• Write clean, well‑tested code, participate in code reviews and champion engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, ML engineers and other developers to translate requirements into robust solutions.
• Identify improvements, reduce technical debt and increase engineering velocity.
• Monitor service health, investigate and resolve production incidents.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with deep expertise in C++.
• Willingness to work with C#/.NET alongside C++.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker containerization.
• Proven experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions.
