ServiceNow Architect Contractor

About the role

Sofigate CEE Zrt., a subsidiary of Sofigate and the largest team of senior ServiceNow experts in Hungary, is looking for an experienced ServiceNow Architect contractor in Budapest. The company works with customers across public and private sectors, including energy and healthcare, and offers flexible working hours and the option to work from anywhere.

Key responsibilities

• Work with customer business stakeholders, platform owners and technical teams to understand requirements and turn them into practical solutions.
• Design and guide scalable ServiceNow solutions based on platform best practices and long-term maintainability.
• Provide architectural and technical guidance to development and delivery teams, covering solution design, implementation, troubleshooting and testing.
• Advise on ServiceNow capabilities across modules, identify synergies and recommend further platform adoption.
• Support customer ServiceNow roadmaps, considering current needs, future opportunities, integrations and overall architecture.
• Explore ways to use AI, automation and emerging ServiceNow capabilities to improve customer processes.
• Stay up to date with ServiceNow releases and platform developments, and continuously improve existing customer environments.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow, preferably in architecture, solution consulting or senior technical roles.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable, sustainable ServiceNow solutions.
• Experience in solution design, technical guidance, testing and quality assurance.
• Fluency in English; experience with AI, LLMs or ServiceNow AI capabilities is a strong advantage.

• Strong technical understanding, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence advising customers and guiding their decisions.
• Self-driven, able to work independently and collaboratively, with strong communication skills.
