Accountant – German Speaking (Austrian GAAP)

About the role

Join group.one’s Finance team in Budapest as an Accountant focused on Austrian GAAP. You will own the full cycle of accounts receivable, accounts payable and month‑end closing while using modern digital tools in a collaborative, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily incoming payments, maintain customer accounts and monitor outstanding receivables.
• Review, code and post supplier invoices, keep vendor master data up‑to‑date.
• Prepare and execute payment runs, track due dates and ensure timely settlements.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and support debt‑collection when needed.
• Maintain master data records and assist with monthly and annual closing activities.

Required profile

• Qualified accounting education with 3‑5 years of professional experience.
• Strong German (C1/C2) and good English communication skills.
• Solution‑oriented, reliable and able to work independently in a fast‑paced setting.
• Interest in digital tools, automation and comfortable with accounting/CRM systems.

Required skills

• Experience with Diamant accounting software.
• Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite (upcoming transition).
