AI Solutions Architect

About the role

MSX, a partner to vehicle manufacturers, retailers and mobility organisations for more than 30 years, is looking for an AI Solutions Architect in Budapest. You will be the technical expert behind scalable, secure and high-performance blueprints that turn AI concepts into production-grade enterprise assets, acting as the primary technical authority in the AI & Data Center of Excellence and guiding handover to IT delivery teams. This is a senior individual contributor role.

Key responsibilities

• Recommend reference architectures for AI solutions and design end-to-end pipelines for Generative AI, Machine Learning and Agentic workflows, keeping them modular, reusable and compliant.
• Evaluate technical feasibility, run rapid prototyping, POCs and MVPs, and estimate effort and resources.
• Define requirements, model dependencies and integration points, and work with Security, Data and Infrastructure teams.
• Help move AI models from lab to production, optimising latency, cost (token management) and reliability, and set up safety, bias mitigation and human-in-the-loop patterns.
• Mentor engineers, review architectures, monitor emerging patterns such as RAG, fine-tuning and multi-agent systems, and build reusable architecture patterns and component templates.
• Assess AI models and emerging technologies using structured LLM validation frameworks, review external AI products, and keep documentation concise and auditable.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years designing end-to-end architectures for Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions.
• Proven track record in feasibility assessments, POCs/MVPs and bridging business needs with engineering execution.
• Experience with enterprise-scale systems, security standards and AI governance.
• Professional English; Italian and/or other European languages are a plus.
