Application Support Specialist

About the role

KPMG Global Services Hungary is looking for an Application Support Specialist to join its VAT compliance centre in Budapest. You will be the first point of contact for technology‑related issues, supporting multinational clients and collaborating with global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage incidents, problems and access tickets (level 1‑2 support), resolve issues or forward them to developers.
• Take ownership of tickets through the full lifecycle, coordinating resolution steps with global groups.
• Create, update and maintain the knowledge base.
• Investigate issues using logs, databases (SQL Server) and code, based on business process understanding.

Required profile

• Affinity for operation and maintenance of Microsoft‑based applications and infrastructure.
• Good understanding of general IT concepts (software, hardware, OS, networks).
• Strong team player with good collaboration and communication skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English, able to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure services.
• SQL Server database querying.
• Microsoft certification (preferred).
