Experienced Verification Engineer – System IP

About the role

Arm’s Budapest System IP team is looking for an experienced Verification Engineer to help define, design and verify high‑performance, energy‑efficient IP blocks used in client, embedded and IoT devices. You will work in a collaborative environment, applying modern verification methodologies to deliver robust silicon.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to System IP micro‑architecture specification and RTL design.
• Develop verification environments and test plans using SystemVerilog/UVM, C, C++ and scripting.
• Propose and prototype new verification methodologies to improve efficiency.
• Own verification plans, environments and debug activities.
• Collaborate with design, performance modelling, validation and implementation engineers to meet functional, power, performance and area goals.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (Bachelor’s with relevant experience acceptable).
• Post‑degree work experience in hardware verification.
• Strong interest and theoretical knowledge of digital circuits, FPGAs and embedded software (C).
• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and methodologies.

Required skills

• SystemVerilog and UVM.
• C and C++ programming.
• Object‑oriented software development.
• Scripting languages (Python, Bash, Linux).
• Understanding of FPGA and ASIC design flows.
