Head of Services, Markets, Operations and Internal Fraud Risk

About the role

Citi is looking for a Head of Services, Markets, Operations and Internal Fraud Risk in Budapest. The role leads a specialist team and sets the enterprise standard for internal fraud controls, including Rogue Trading, and acts as a senior adviser to the Board, regulators and business leadership. It covers the Services, Markets and Operations businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide fraud risk frameworks, policies and controls across Services, Markets and Operations
• Provide independent second-line oversight of fraud risk exposures, including internal fraud and Rogue Trading
• Oversee fraud risk monitoring programs, including key risk indicators (KRIs) and dashboards
• Report fraud risk status, trends and significant developments to the Board, regulators and other stakeholders
• Keep up with regulatory changes and support internal and external audits and regulatory examinations
• Integrate fraud risk management into business processes and strategic planning, and champion ethical, collaborative risk management

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience, including 8-10+ years of managerial experience
• 5+ years in Capital Markets products, Operations, credit facilities and Rogue Trading risk management
• 5+ years in Treasury, Payments, Trade Finance, Investor Services, Issuer Services and Liquidity Management
• 5+ years of fraud risk management experience
• Experience managing complex risk assessments, designing risk mitigation strategies and partnering with the business and senior management
• Experience interacting with regulators and Internal Audit

Required skills

• Robust understanding of fraud risk and operational risk frameworks, industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Understanding of Citi products and the downstream impact of fraud and operational risk
• Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills, able to present complex risk matters to the Board and senior management
• Strategic thinking and ability to manage change across cultures
