Job Architecture Consultant (Fixed-Term Contract)

About the role

The Swiss Automotive Group (SAG), one of Europe's largest auto parts suppliers, is looking for an experienced Job Architecture Consultant for a fixed-term project in Budapest. The consultant supports the implementation of a Mercer-based job architecture and benchmarking framework across the group, establishing a consistent job architecture, validating job families and career frameworks, aligning positions to Mercer methodologies and supporting market benchmarking. The role focuses on deployment, adoption and governance of the new framework.

Key responsibilities

• Implement a Mercer-based job architecture framework, reviewing and validating organizational structures, job families, job functions and career streams, and mapping existing positions to the new framework
• Assess and recommend career levels and job classifications, and ensure consistency across countries and business functions
• Apply Mercer International Position Evaluation (IPE) methodology, match positions to market benchmark surveys, validate benchmark positions with HR and business leaders, and ensure data quality for market pricing
• Develop implementation documentation, guidelines and governance processes, including quality controls and standards for position classification
• Deliver training to HR teams and managers, create user guides and training materials, and support project reporting and executive updates

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology or a related field; an advanced HR or compensation certification is an advantage
• Proven experience implementing a Mercer-based job architecture framework and using Mercer IPE methodology
• Experience with job matching and market benchmarking, and in multinational, multi-country environments
• Proven experience leading or supporting similar job architecture implementations in complex organizations
