Junior Statutory Reporting Accountant

About the role

The Junior Statutory Reporting Accountant will join Veeva's EMEA finance team in Budapest, supporting the end‑to‑end statutory reporting cycle for multiple European entities. You will work closely with the Statutory Reporting Manager, internal finance partners and external auditors to ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS and local GAAP requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Support the statutory reporting process for several European countries, preparing financial statements and regulatory filings.
• Assist in comparing US GAAP, IFRS and local GAAP frameworks and prepare technical adjustments.
• Maintain statutory compliance workflows and help compile documentation for audit readiness.
• Coordinate with GL, Tax, Legal and external partners to ensure data accuracy.
• Track changes in European accounting standards and VAT legislation.

Required profile

• 1+ years of post‑qualification experience focused on general ledger and financial accounting.
• Familiarity with statutory reporting cycles or financial statement preparation for European entities.
• Experience supporting financial and statutory audits.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
