Layout Design Engineer

About the role

As a Layout Design Engineer you will develop and verify PCB designs for electronic control units in the mobility sector. You will work within an international development network, collaborating closely with mechanical, hardware, technology, and manufacturing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and check PCB layouts for electronic control units.
• Participate actively in cross‑functional projects with international partners.
• Create production documentation for prototypes and series production.
• Address technical queries from customers and development partners.
• Integrate layout‑related technologies together with Hungarian and global development teams.
• Maintain and optimise the component library, including footprints for STD/STD+ and MM applications.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc degree in electrical engineering or a comparable field.
• Strong communication skills in English (German is a plus).
• Solid understanding of electronic and digital technologies.
• Knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes such as PCB fabrication and SMT.
• Experience with CAD tools for PCB design.
