Model-based Software Engineer for MEMS Sensors

About the role

We are looking for a Model‑based Software Engineer to develop Simulink models of MEMS sensor signal chains in Bosch’s Mobility Electronics division. You will work in an international, dynamic environment collaborating with R&D and automotive customers.

Key responsibilities

• Create Simulink models describing the full signal chain of MEMS sensors.
• Develop and implement algorithms for testing and verifying model performance.
• Compile verified models into efficient low‑level code.
• Maintain and support existing models.
• Evaluate hardware measurement data for model validation.
• Collaborate with internal customers, gather requirements and conduct peer reviews.
• Develop deep understanding of Bosch sensor signal chains.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related field.
• Problem‑solving mindset, growth orientation and collaborative spirit.
• Ability to work in an international, multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• MATLAB and Simulink.
• Digital signal processing and system theory.
• Object‑oriented programming.
• Knowledge of MEMS (advantage).
• Embedded software development (advantage).
• Measurement technology (advantage).
