Product Marketing Manager

About the role

Percona is seeking a Product Marketing Manager / Go‑To‑Market Owner for its Cloud Native product line, covering PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB Kubernetes Operators. This individual contributor role will own positioning, messaging, launches, sales enablement and community strategy, working closely with engineering, sales, partnerships and revenue operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop positioning and messaging that links Percona's Kubernetes software with its support and services offerings.
• Own go‑to‑market strategy and launch execution for new releases, features and service offerings.
• Create and maintain GTM assets such as web pages, datasheets, case studies, white papers and sales enablement materials.
• Engage with the open‑source community, partners and customers to strengthen market presence and drive service adoption.
• Gather customer evidence through interviews, Jobs‑to‑Be‑Done research, case studies and testimonials.
• Influence product strategy by synthesizing customer feedback, market insights and competitive analysis.
• Partner with Digital Marketing to maximise impact of content, SEO, PPC, email and social media campaigns.

Required profile

• Technical background or familiarity with database management and the Kubernetes software market (a plus).
• 2+ years of experience in go‑to‑market, product marketing or solution‑focused roles.
• Product Marketing Alliance, Pragmatic or similar certification (a plus).
• Strong understanding of customer buying journeys and decision‑making processes.
• Excellent writing, communication and presentation abilities.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
