Project Leader for Machine Design Area

About the role

As a Project Leader for the Machine Design Area at Bosch's Hatvan plant, you will be responsible for overseeing complex machine‑design projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards while leading a skilled technical team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all phases of machine‑design projects from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and customer requirements.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines and budgets; monitor progress and take corrective actions to keep projects on schedule and within cost targets.
• Conduct technical reviews, evaluate design specifications, manufacturing feasibility and performance requirements.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design reports, status updates and performance metrics.
• Communicate project status, risks and outcomes to stakeholders and senior management through regular reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as manufacturing, quality assurance and procurement to guarantee seamless execution.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations and Bosch policies throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in machine design or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of proven project‑leadership or coordination experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials and mechanical‑design principles.
• Familiarity with recognised project‑management methodologies and tools; certifications such as CAPM, PMP or MPM are a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
