Project Leader – Machine Design

About the role

As Project Leader for the Machine Design area at Bosch's Hatvan plant, you will be responsible for steering complex machine design projects from concept to delivery. You will lead a multidisciplinary technical team, ensuring projects meet quality, schedule, and budget targets while supporting Bosch’s vision of automated, accident‑free mobility.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all phases of machine design projects, aligning them with customer requirements and corporate objectives.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets; monitor progress and take corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct technical reviews, assess manufacturing feasibility, and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality assurance, and procurement teams to guarantee seamless execution.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in machine design or mechanical engineering.
• At least 3 years of proven project leadership or coordination experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and mechanical design principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills in English; Hungarian is a plus.
