Purchasing Backoffice Specialist – SC Division

About the role

You will support the Commercial or Project Purchasing Manager in daily operational tasks, ensuring smooth procurement processes for the SC division. The role combines market research, contract administration, and supplier coordination within a global automotive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research, price comparisons and benchmarking analyses.
• Prepare, distribute, follow‑up and archive contracts after all signatures are obtained.
• Collect, maintain and update pricing data in Excel, SAP and other IT systems.
• Coordinate with Buyers on pricing and supplier information, obtaining missing data.
• Monitor EU sanctions packages and verify supplier compliance.
• Track supplier responses, set deadlines and send reminders.
• Review invoice discrepancies and resolve them with Buyers, Suppliers or Accounting.
• Support suppliers in day‑to‑day operational issues and remove business barriers.
• Assist supplier management activities, including certificates, presentations and sales data.
• Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail.
• Minimum 2 years experience in purchasing, cost tracking and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Experience in supplier management; knowledge of mechanical components is a plus.
• Team‑oriented and flexible, able to work in a global team environment.
