Reliability Engineer – Soldering Technology (Mobility Electronics)

About the role

Join Bosch Mobility Electronics in Budapest as a Reliability Engineer focused on soldering technology. You will work on the development and validation of assembly and interconnection technologies for PCB‑based electronic control units used in a wide range of automotive applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop assembly and interconnection technologies (AIT) for PCB‑based ECUs.
• Define solder joint load capability and perform material characterization.
• Set up, execute, and evaluate experiments to assess reliability.
• Prepare English reports and present findings to project teams.
• Apply big data methods to improve development efficiency.
• Collaborate in cross‑functional engineering teams locally and internationally.
• Coordinate reliability activities such as simulations, tests, and analyses.
• Agree project targets with customers and provide regular status updates.
• Utilize project management tools for quality, change, and risk management.

Required profile

• MSc in material sciences, simulation, mechanical engineering or a comparable field.
• Experience with Finite Element Method (FEM).
• Strong analytical skills with a structured, precise work style.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to new environments.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Self‑motivated team player eager for continuous learning.
