Sample Target Coster

About the role

As a Sample Target Coster you will lead cost optimisation and process standardisation initiatives for Bosch's sample production and delivery value stream. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to improve efficiency, transparency and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Define and continuously improve the end‑to‑end sample value stream, establishing standards, tools and best practices.
• Drive process harmonisation, governance, rollout activities and stakeholder training.
• Coordinate sample volume planning and consolidate demand forecasts with sales, business and project stakeholders.
• Monitor KPIs on cost, scrap, quality, delivery and production volumes; trigger escalations and corrective actions when needed.
• Develop and implement cost‑improvement projects aligned with profitability targets.
• Set and track cost targets for sample‑related projects.
• Collaborate with purchasing, engineering, manufacturing and business teams to identify cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Provide transparent performance reporting and data‑driven insights for management decisions.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a comparable cost‑optimisation or process‑improvement role.
• Strong analytical mindset with a structured, result‑oriented approach.
• Proven ability to take ownership, lead initiatives independently and influence stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial, proactive and solution‑focused attitude.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; German is a plus.
