Senior Fleet Transition Manager

About the role

Wizz Air Hungary is seeking a Senior Fleet Transition Manager to lead the end‑of‑lease (EOL) and aircraft delivery programmes. The role ensures smooth redelivery, delivery and warranty processes while staying within budget and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the full lifecycle of fleet lease agreements, redelivery conditions and related contracts.
• Supervise subcontractors for EOL projects, aircraft deliveries and warranty management.
• Support lease negotiations and manage lease return activities with lessors, including meetings, final closure and exclusion negotiations.
• Develop and optimise long‑term redelivery plans, standards, processes and procedures.
• Prepare executive reports and control the EOL programme budget.
• Ensure timely procurement of services, materials and resources of appropriate quality.
• Analyse each EOL event, capture lessons learned and improve processes.
• Oversee aircraft delivery compliance with regulatory and company standards, manage delivery documentation and certificates.
• Participate in invoice verification, cost control and warranty claim management, providing monthly status updates.
• Lead the Fleet Transition team and support RFPs at airline or group level.

Required profile

• 5‑7+ years of experience in aircraft leasing, financing or maintenance, or at least 4+ years of proven project management experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Engineering.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of EASA OPS, Part M (including Subpart I), Part 145 and relevant parts of Part 21.
• Thorough understanding of the CAME.
• Proficiency with AMOS and Microsoft Office tools.
