Senior Fullstack (Java) Developer

About the role

As a Senior Fullstack (Java) Developer at Bosch Group in Budapest, you will lead the creation of high‑performance web applications that support our long‑term digitalisation strategy. You will work on cutting‑edge projects that combine backend robustness with modern frontend experiences, while also exploring AI‑enhanced development tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, secure web applications using Java, Spring Boot and modern frontend frameworks (React or Angular).
• Build internal digital solutions that automate processes and incorporate agentic AI use cases.
• Mentor medior and junior developers, conduct code reviews and define development standards.
• Make architectural decisions across the full stack, balancing performance, maintainability and user experience.
• Ensure smooth deployment in containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes) on cloud platforms such as Azure.
• Introduce and integrate AI‑enhanced tools (code copilots, automation frameworks) to boost productivity.
• (Optional) Contribute UX insights to create intuitive interfaces.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional web‑application development experience.
• Strong communication skills, fluent English (intermediate level); German is a plus.
• Experience working in agile teams and a proactive, can‑do attitude.
