Senior Product Systems Engineer

About the role

Silicon Labs is seeking a Senior Product Systems Engineer to research targeted IoT applications, define system‑level use cases and drive hardware and software roadmaps. The role ensures product features meet market needs and creates customer‑facing documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Management to shape the product roadmap.
• Conduct end‑application teardown analysis and use‑case identification.
• Capture and track market and product requirements using a requirements‑management tool.
• Create technical content for data sheets, reference manuals, and specification tables.
• Mentor junior team members and improve systems‑team processes.

Required profile

• BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of industry experience.
• Strong understanding of embedded microcontroller architectures and application design.
• Basic knowledge of wireless radios and protocols (Bluetooth, ZigBee, Wi‑Fi).
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Experience with scripting (Python) and AI‑powered productivity tools.
