Senior Software Application Developer

About the role

Join Bosch's Budapest team to help shape the future of electric mobility. As a Senior Software Application Developer you will work closely with colleagues in Germany to build a complex, highly integrated testing ecosystem for automotive ECU software.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the architecture and development of a multi‑component software ecosystem using C# and Python.
• Design and implement scalable, micro‑services‑based backend architectures for AI‑driven web applications, desktop tools, and distributed hardware control systems.
• Develop and integrate .NET applications while creating and automating CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, IaC).
• Implement caching strategies, monitor application health, and ensure system resilience and performance.
• Collaborate with international development teams to deliver seamless, high‑quality solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent self‑taught experience.
• Strong English proficiency; Hungarian is a plus, German advantageous.
• Proven experience designing scalable, resilient server‑side architectures.
• Ability to translate business and non‑functional requirements into technical decisions.
• Experience with modular, component‑based design and system documentation.
