Senior Territory Manager – Orthopaedics

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Territory Manager for Orthopaedics in Hungary. You will drive evidence‑based selling to clinical and non‑clinical stakeholders, manage tender processes, and develop key opinion leaders across a defined territory.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct face‑to‑face evidence‑based selling with surgeons and hospital staff, including regular OR visits (approximately four times per week).
• Manage tender bids in close collaboration with the tender department, from preparation to contracting.
• Develop and nurture KOL relationships by specialty and represent the company at congresses, workshops, and other professional events.
• Monitor market trends, perform SWOT analyses, and support new product introductions following corporate guidelines.
• Acquire new customers within the assigned territory and provide product usage support to physicians.

Required profile

• Fluent Hungarian and very good English.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the medical field.
• Strong technical understanding of medical instruments and devices.
• Valid B‑category driving licence and solid computer skills.
• Innovative, proactive, and analytical mindset with excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Johnson & Johnson systems: OneForce, Funnel of Life (FOL), WorkDay.
• Ability to understand and explain technical specifications of orthopaedic devices.

What we offer

• Base salary range: Ft10,874,000 – Ft16,879,700.
• Annual bonus or sales commission based on performance.
