SEO Consultant

About the role

As a member of DEPT®’s near‑shore SEO team within the EMEA network, you will act as a strategic advisor to ambitious brands, helping them grow through organic search. You will design and execute SEO strategies, guide junior consultants, and contribute to new‑business pitches while staying ahead of industry trends.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement SEO strategies that align with client objectives and target audiences.
• Guide and educate other SEO consultants working on the strategies and roadmaps you create.
• Conduct foundational analyses such as keyword research, technical scans, and backlink audits when needed.
• Participate independently in new‑business pitches and one‑off client projects.
• Track performance, analyse data, and deliver regular reports with actionable recommendations.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and adapt strategies accordingly.

Required profile

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• At least 3 years of experience working in SEO.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data for optimisation.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities to convey complex ideas.
• Strategic autonomy to manage priorities, make decisions and drive results.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
