Services Engineer

About the role

Formlabs is looking for a Services Engineer to join its Customer Services team in Budapest. You will become the technical escalation point for SLA and SLS 3D printer issues, helping users get the most out of their machines.

Key responsibilities

• Gain deep technical knowledge of Formlabs’ SLA and SLS product platforms.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex customer issues.
• Develop and communicate troubleshooting procedures to Services agents.
• Investigate root causes of field problems and collaborate with R&D and Documentation to deliver solutions.
• Track issue occurrence rates and champion organization‑wide resolution efforts.
• Maintain systems used by Services agents to log and report customer incidents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in a technical role involving hardware, software and electrical systems.
• Proven ability to liaise between technical and non‑technical teams.
• Strong accountability for driving projects to completion across multiple stakeholders.
• Comfortable balancing daily escalations with long‑term projects and remaining calm under pressure.

• Google DataStudio (or similar data‑visualisation tools)
