Technical Sales Specialist – Motors and Drives (2‑year fixed‑term)

About the role

Join ABB’s Motors and Drives business to build customer relationships and develop new business opportunities on a 2‑year fixed‑term contract. You will understand customers' challenges and work with ABB experts to create tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement account plans and sales actions for an assigned portfolio.
• Identify new business opportunities based on customers' business challenges.
• Sell ABB products, solutions and services while meeting revenue, volume and profitability targets.
• Coordinate quotations, projects and follow‑up on sales opportunities.
• Monitor competitors, market trends and share pricing information.
• Collaborate with technical, service, finance and other internal teams using Salesforce and other digital tools.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of sales or customer‑relationship experience in a technical environment.
• University degree in a technical field such as electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Fluent Hungarian and good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication, negotiation, problem‑solving and organisational skills.
• Proactive, able to work independently and collaborate across functions.

Required skills

• Salesforce (or other CRM) usage.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
