Head of Excellence Cluster Vehicle Application & Integration

About the role

The Head of Excellence Cluster Vehicle Application & Integration will lead a multidisciplinary team within Bosch's Engineering Centre in Budapest. This senior position shapes the strategy and execution of vehicle application and integration activities, supporting Bosch’s global mobility initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop experts and functional teams, providing disciplinary leadership and performance management.
• Drive employee development through coaching, mentoring, competency management and regular performance discussions.
• Promote the department’s services, build strong internal partnerships and support recruitment activities.
• Support business planning, budget monitoring, resource management and efficient workforce planning, including onboarding and off‑boarding.
• Collaborate with global technical and organizational stakeholders to ensure compliance with development, operational and legal processes.
• Monitor project activities, contribute to problem‑solving and critical discussions.
• Identify innovations, new methods, tools and key competencies to meet future business needs.
• Define and steer department strategy in alignment with global business objectives.

Required profile

• University degree in HR, Business, Engineering, IT, Economics or a related field.
• Several years of leadership experience in an international environment.
• Strong people‑management, stakeholder‑management and communication skills.
• Experience in budgeting, workforce planning and performance management.
• Strategic, proactive and solution‑oriented mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven experience in coaching and mentoring teams.
