AI Engineer II

About the role

Mastercard’s Security Solutions Data Science team is seeking an AI Engineer II to help build and operationalize AI/ML models that protect authentication and authorization networks. You will work with large‑scale data platforms to automate model creation, streamline data pipelines, and accelerate fraud‑detection innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and feature‑engineering workflows at petabyte scale.
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code for data processing and model deployment.
• Automate end‑to‑end data workflows in distributed environments, ensuring reliability and repeatability.
• Collaborate with data scientists to integrate model features into production systems.
• Analyze and optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading processes to support business intelligence.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to learn independently and solve complex data‑engineering problems.
• Strong research skills and resourcefulness in finding solutions.
• Experience working with big‑data platforms and large‑scale data sets.
