C++ Software Engineer, 3D Desktop Application

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Desktop team in Budapest. In this hybrid role you will build and ship PreForm, our 3D print preparation application for Windows and macOS, delivering end‑to‑end workflows and high‑performance rendering.

Key responsibilities

• Build and evolve a desktop 3D print preparation application for Windows and macOS.
• Work with C++ / Qt 6 / QML on a large production codebase.
• Develop features end‑to‑end, including design, implementation, automated testing, and deployment.
• Contribute to geometry processing, rendering, workflow logic, and printer integration.
• Improve build systems, CI, packaging, and developer tooling.
• Partner with product, design, QA, and other engineering teams.

Required profile

• Strong experience in desktop application development, preferably with C++/Qt.
• Ability to architect reliable systems and work effectively in a large, evolving codebase.
• Commitment to code quality, testing, and maintainability.
• Comfortable collaborating across functions and tackling ambiguous product problems.
• Quick learner who takes initiative on technically varied challenges.
