Functional Lead for Salesforce & ServiceMax

About the role

Johnson Controls is looking for a Techno‑Functional Lead to drive the design, implementation and support of its field service management solutions built on ServiceMax and Salesforce. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that service processes are translated into scalable, high‑performing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design, development and rollout of ServiceMax/Salesforce solutions, including configuration of work orders, entitlements, preventive maintenance and dispatch console.
• Gather business requirements, create technical specifications and collaborate with architects, analysts and developers to deliver integrated solutions.
• Develop customizations, workflows, validation rules and integrations using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components and ServiceMax tools.
• Conduct testing, support UAT, produce technical documentation and runbooks, and provide training and subject‑matter expertise to ensure solution adoption.
• Mentor junior team members and foster capability development across Architecture, Business Analysis and Managed Services.

Required profile

• Proven experience in the field service domain with hands‑on implementation of Salesforce or ServiceMax.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Preferred Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Experience in field‑service intensive industries such as manufacturing, utilities or medical devices.

• Salesforce platform development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components).
• ServiceMax configuration tools (Service Flow Manager, Process Builder, Visual Workflow).
• Mobile application implementation (ServiceMax GO).
• Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Database knowledge (Oracle, SQL Server).
