Hungarian Language Lead (Freelance, Remote)

About the role

Acclaro is looking for a Freelance Hungarian Language Lead to oversee Hungarian language projects, ensuring linguistic quality and consistency across technical and marketing content. This remote position involves managing daily production tasks, quality checks, and supporting linguists.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily QA reports and live performance in WordsOnline, identifying errors and taking corrective actions.
• Conduct monthly quality review calls with Production and Quality teams, and issue warnings or recommendations for linguist performance.
• Answer linguistic queries, support new customer onboarding, and train new linguists.
• Maintain and improve linguistic instructions, reference materials, terminology, and glossaries.
• Prepare performance reports and analyses.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in translation/localization.
• Proven experience in localization project management or language lead roles.
• Native-level proficiency in Hungarian and excellent command of English.
• Experience with technical and marketing content, preferably IT/software.
• Strong understanding of localization best practices and tools.
