Java Developer

About the role

Accenture is looking for a Java Developer in Budapest to join its team and play a key role in designing and developing its applications. The ideal candidate has a background in Java development, a passion for technology and the ability to learn and develop quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Work in a team to design and code clean, maintainable, high-performance custom-build solutions using Java technologies and related frameworks.
• Follow defined methodology and standards to deliver high-quality software.
• Conduct code reviews and give constructive feedback to team members.
• Write and run unit tests so that applications and technical environments meet requirements.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies.
• Be part of a community focused on Agile delivery and principles.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java back-end development.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
• Active English; German is an advantage.
• Legal right to work in Hungary without visa sponsorship.

Required skills

• Java and Java frameworks such as Spring.
• SQL and database design.
• Design patterns, architectural blueprints, UML and application design.
• Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Advantages: microservices, front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), Azure or similar cloud components, and continuous delivery tools (Kubernetes, AKS, Docker).
