Key Account Specialist - Advanced Surgery & Anesthesia

About the role

Baxter is looking for a Key Account Specialist to drive sales growth, market access and clinical adoption of its Advanced Surgery and Anesthesia portfolio within an assigned territory in Hungary. The role builds relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital decision-makers and procurement stakeholders, supports tender activities and ensures compliance with Baxter's quality and pharmacovigilance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Sales and account management: achieve sales and business objectives, develop territory and account plans, build relationships with surgeons, anesthesiologists, intensivists, pharmacists, procurement teams and hospital management, and identify growth opportunities.
• Clinical education and customer engagement: deliver product presentations, workshops and training, support clinicians with product knowledge and evidence, and represent Baxter at congresses and customer meetings.
• Tender and market access: monitor and support hospital tenders, collaborate with internal teams and distributors/wholesalers on bids, and track market and competitor developments.
• Compliance, quality and pharmacovigilance: report product complaints and quality issues, collect and report adverse events and safety information within required timelines, educate customers on safety reporting, and follow all quality and compliance policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Biology, Chemistry, Health Sciences or another healthcare-related discipline, with a qualification recognised under Hungarian pharmaceutical promotion regulations for detailing registered medicinal products.
• At least 2 years of sales experience in pharmaceutical and/or medical device companies.
• Experience working with hospitals and healthcare stakeholders, and familiarity with tender and procurement processes.
• Fluent Hungarian and professional English.
• Preferred: experience promoting products in Advanced Surgery, Anesthesia, Critical Care, ICU or Operating Room environments, and knowledge of hospital purchasing and reimbursement.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Strong stakeholder management, presentation and negotiation skills.

What we offer

• Minimum salary of 10,400,000 HUF gross per year, with possible higher pay depending on skills and experience.
