NPI Project Manager – Automotive Electronics

About the role

Bosch's Hatvan plant, founded in 1998 and the largest automotive electronics production centre of the Bosch Group, is hiring an NPI Project Manager. The role manages and coordinates industrialization projects for chargers, power modules, converters and inverters used in electric vehicles, working with engineering, manufacturing and quality assurance teams to move new products from development to mass production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project plans, set milestones, allocate resources and monitor progress
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition of new products to mass production
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process improvements and cost reductions, applying lean manufacturing principles
• Identify and mitigate industrialization risks and cooperate with suppliers for timely delivery of special-purpose machines, components and materials
• Report project status regularly to management and key stakeholders
• Lead and guide project team members, fostering accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement

Required profile

• BSc or MSc degree in engineering, industrial engineering or a related field
• Extensive experience (5+ years) in project management, industrialization or manufacturing in the automotive industry
• Fluent English; German is an advantage
• PMP certification is an advantage

Required skills

• Project management methodologies, tools and software
• Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes and quality standards
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
