Senior Associate - F&A (Record to Report)

About the role

Genpact is looking for a Senior Associate in Finance and Accounting (F&A) covering Record to Report (R2R) in its Genpact services Hungary office. The role covers all activities related to the General Accounting domain, with a hybrid work arrangement and standard working hours.

Key responsibilities

• Review the review team's day-to-day activities, including account reconciliations, journal entries, reports, audit requests, analysis and other requests
• Carry out month-end close activities
• Handle fixed assets capitalization and maintenance, intercompany accounting, bank and investment reconciliations, general ledger and fixed asset reconciliations (FA clearing and SL-GL)
• Identify balancing items and clear them, and handle escheat reconciliations
• Prepare corporate reporting and support internal and external audits
• Ensure SOX compliance
• Identify opportunities and recommend solutions for process and automation improvements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or a Master's in Finance
• Certifications such as CFA, CPA or CRCM are listed as examples
• Advanced English proficiency (C1); English is required
