Senior FP&A Manager

About the role

SEON, a fraud prevention and AML compliance platform, is hiring a Senior FP&A Manager to take operational ownership of financial planning and analysis across its corporate P&L. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, the role covers core reporting rhythms, planning support for non-revenue functions and acting as a finance partner to budget owners. It is a hands-on role focused on clean data, variance analysis and practical decision support. The position can be based in Budapest with a hybrid schedule, or anywhere in EMEA remotely, with occasional travel.

Key responsibilities

• Own FP&A for G&A and operating expenses, including headcount, travel and entertainment, software spend and departmental budgets
• Support R&D and product cost planning, including engineering headcount cost planning and capitalization support
• Lead the monthly budget vs actuals cycle for departments outside GTM and COGS, including variance analysis, commentary and follow-up with budget owners
• Prepare first-draft consolidated reporting and board-deck inputs using the FP&A platform
• Act as the primary finance business partner for non-revenue functions, giving day-to-day support, insight and challenge
• Own core FP&A system workflows, including templates, monthly refreshes and data integrity

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance or a similar analytical role, ideally in SaaS or another high-growth environment
• Strong understanding of monthly close, budget vs actuals, forecasting and management reporting
• Experience partnering with department heads and budget owners, communicating clearly and credibly
• Familiarity with the VC-backed startup environment, including fundraising cycles, investor reporting and the pace of scaling
