Senior Full‑Stack Engineer - DBO

About the role

Shift4 is looking for a senior .NET & Angular developer to design, build and support modern in‑house DBO applications that power Global Blue’s Tax‑Free Shopping products. You will work in a mature agile environment, collaborating daily with product, QA, UX and DevOps teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and evolve scalable, maintainable services and web applications using Clean Architecture and SOLID principles.
• Define testing strategies, create automated tests and ensure regression‑resistant deliveries.
• Champion secure‑by‑design practices, mitigate vulnerabilities and follow OWASP/PCI‑DSS guidelines.
• Take operational ownership: enable observability, build dashboards, set alerts and participate in incident response.
• Model and manage relational data in MSSQL, ensuring performance and scalability.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to explain complex technical topics to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Collaborative, proactive team player in international, multi‑disciplinary environments.

Required skills

• .NET 8‑10 (C#), ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework.
• Angular 19+ & TypeScript, NGRX/RxJS.
• MSSQL relational database design, indexing, query tuning.
• RabbitMQ messaging patterns.
• Docker (multi‑stage builds, hardened images) and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD pipelines, Git branching and code review hygiene.
• Observability tools: structured logging, metrics, tracing (OpenTelemetry).
• Security knowledge: OWASP Top 10, OIDC/OAuth2, PCI‑DSS awareness.
• AI‑assisted engineering with GitHub Copilot.
