Transfer Pricing Junior Manager

About the role

Diageo's Global Tax function, which covers Transfer Pricing, is looking for a Transfer Pricing Junior Manager in Budapest. The role provides specialist technical and analytical expertise to support the global TP agenda and key strategic TP projects, while identifying ways to improve and simplify ways of working. It is a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Own the strategy for gathering information for TP documentation and advisory projects, including working with the outsourced TP documentation advisor and with finance teams to implement it
• Support the wider TP team on advisory projects and give TP input to business-led projects, focusing on data and complex financial analysis and modelling
• Support the TP manager in feeding SME input and information into TP audits
• Identify technology and process improvements and support the TP Operations team in implementing TP policies
• Help design and support TP strategies and policies, and respond to ad-hoc queries affecting pricing of finished goods, inter-company royalties, technical service fees, financial transactions, services and other related-party transactions

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Tax or Accounting with at least 4 years of relevant experience, either in practice or at a large multinational
• Proactive approach, strong numeracy and commercial skills, able to make sound judgments in a technically sophisticated and sometimes heavily regulated field
• Ability to work with limited data and tight deadlines, and to handle global responsibilities and many partners

Required skills

• Detailed financial modelling and Excel (or equivalent)
• Familiarity with data extraction, manipulation and presentation
• Strong understanding of accounting and tax principles and reporting processes
