VAT Analyst (Spanish/Portuguese)

About the role

We are looking for a VAT Analyst who is fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese to join KPMG Global Services Hungary in Budapest. You will work with multinational clients from the Global Fortune 500, helping them navigate complex VAT regulations across more than 40 countries.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in internal training to acquire deep VAT knowledge and deliver high‑quality client service.
• Analyse large VAT data sets and prepare indirect‑tax reports according to country‑specific guidance.
• Proactively anticipate client needs, respond to inquiries, and liaise with foreign tax authorities when required.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and contribute to continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent diploma.
• Strong written and spoken English; fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
• Comfortable working with numbers and large data volumes.
• Precise, reliable, client‑oriented and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills (training will be provided to further develop expertise).
