Air Operations Agent

About the role

Maersk is seeking an Air Operations Agent to join its Air team in Budapest. The role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, overseeing end‑to‑end carrier management for air‑freight operations, from initial contact through delivery, while adhering to company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Manage export and import air shipments, ensuring accurate carrier bookings and billing.
• Balance carrier capacity and mix, maintaining relationships with the Air team, Maersk offices at destination, customers, carriers and suppliers.
• Provide assistance in resolving customer queries and issues in both English and Hungarian.
• Process data and generate reports related to air‑freight operations.

Required profile

• Experience in managing import and export air‑freight operations.
• Strong communication skills with attention to detail and a hands‑on approach.
• Problem‑solving ability, willingness to learn and high sense of responsibility.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of MS Office.
