About the role
Join Maersk Customs Services in Budapest as a Customs Operations Associate, handling end‑to‑end customs processes for a global customer base.
Key responsibilities
- Execute customs operations and clearance processes in compliance with regulations.
- Manage import and export documentation, collect operational data, and prepare required reports.
- Handle Value Added Services (VAS) daily, aligning with customer requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Liaise and communicate effectively with customs authorities.
Required profile
- Proven experience in managing customs, import/export, and transit operations.
- Strong communication skills in English and native‑level proficiency in Hungarian.
- Proactive, well‑structured, and solution‑oriented professional.
- Dynamic, resilient, and ready to embrace new challenges.
- In‑depth knowledge of customs management software.
