Clinical Specialist / Stroke Rater (Hungarian Speaking)

About the role

iQVIA is looking for a Clinical Specialist / Stroke Rater who speaks fluent Hungarian, working remotely. The role supports stroke clinical trials by administering standardized assessments and ensuring data quality and consistency. It involves rating patients using validated stroke scales and reviewing assessments made by other raters to keep protocol compliance and inter-rater reliability high. Hours are estimated at 2-12 per month and are flexible.

Key responsibilities

• Administer stroke-specific scales to trial participants (EQ-5D-5L Interviewer-administered and Proxy 1 versions, and mRS).
• Review and evaluate assessments done by other raters for accuracy and adherence to protocol.
• Conduct live interactions with raters to give feedback on scoring techniques and methodology.
• Take part in training, orientation and calibration sessions to stay certified and consistent.
• Prepare for rater discussions by reviewing case data and documentation.
• Complete scheduled rater interactions and submit all required documentation on time.
• Assist with mock interviews and functional assessments of rater performance as needed.

Required profile

• Master's degree (MA/MS) in Medicine, Neurology, Psychology or a related field; MD, DO or PhD preferred.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience with stroke patients.
• Prior experience administering stroke-related rating scales in clinical trials.
• Fluent Hungarian.

Required skills

• Proficiency in administering EQ-5D-5L and mRS.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with raters and trial staff.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail and time management.
