Customer Investment Management Analyst

About the role

The Customer Investment Management Analyst works in the Customer Investment Team, the first point of contact for Commercial Sales and Field Sales teams. The team manages agreements and invoices at Key Account, National Account and outlet level and keeps documents. The analyst ensures Diageo pays the right amount for contractual obligations by reconciling invoices with contracts and proof of obligations such as volume or activation, and acts as the single point of contact for validating and coding claims for the assigned cluster.

Key responsibilities

• Research, validate and code invoices according to internal controls, interacting with Sales, OTC, Credit Control and other teams.
• Provide operational and functional support to the line manager and own the invoicing processes for the assigned cluster.
• Deliver the CIM service offering within SLA timings and thresholds, and liaise with customers and sales teams on invoicing issues.
• Use external and internal metrics to reconcile, evaluate and control outbound payments, and perform volume analysis and invoice calculations.
• Ensure 100% compliance across invoicing and audits, report cash-on metrics and propose improvements.

Required profile

• Excellent business English; German is an advantage.
• Results-oriented, able to work to tight deadlines, with awareness of controls and risk management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in invoicing operations; experience in a shared services environment is an advantage.

Required skills

• SAP and at least intermediate Excel.
• Power BI experience is a plus.
