DevOps Engineer – Atlassian Service Management Tools

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer – Monitoring to join our Tolling Services team. In this role you will design, implement and maintain robust monitoring solutions that ensure reliability, availability and performance of our infrastructure and applications. You will collaborate closely with development, operations and security teams to proactively identify and resolve issues before they affect users.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and manage Atlassian products such as JIRA Service Management, Confluence and Jira.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and integrations.
• Maintain and improve system reliability, scalability and security.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to streamline workflows and optimise DevOps practices.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and optimise infrastructure.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with best practices.
• Support integration with external tools including Jenkins, Kubernetes and AWS services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in a DevOps, system administration or similar role.
• Strong experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Jira Service Management).
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to integrate Atlassian tools with other DevOps and ITSM solutions.
• Problem‑solving mindset, strong troubleshooting skills and fluency in English.
• Additional advantage: experience in a SAFe environment and knowledge of German.
