Domain Lead - F&A Tax

About the role

Genpact is looking for a Domain Lead for F&A Tax to lead a large R2R (revenue recognition to reporting) team covering VAT, statutory, general accounting, fixed assets, intercompany and account reconciliation. The role balances month-end, quarter-end and year-end closes, ensures books are closed on time and drives retention and client up-sell.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a large R2R team across VAT, statutory, general accounting, fixed assets, intercompany and account reconciliation.
• Balance month-end, quarter-end and year-end, prepare for them and ensure books are closed on time.
• Groom and enable career progression while promoting Genpact's culture (CI2).
• Achieve or exceed retention targets.
• Lead the delivery of outsourced F&A R2R services to ensure customer satisfaction and increase revenue through client up-sell.
• Work globally with other Genpact business and functional leaders to build and commercialize existing and new product offerings.
• Drive transformation projects to meet quality and productivity goals, and implement plans to close performance gaps.
• Collaborate in the new deal process, including solutioning, pricing, due diligence, transition and stabilization.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or a Master's in Finance.
• Advanced English (C1).
• Sound knowledge of VAT, statutory and R2R topics such as intercompany accounting, fixed assets accounting, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and amortization, and financial reporting submissions.
• Lean Six Sigma framework and proven ability to work with cross-functional teams (Operations, GPO, Digital, Transformation, Transition teams).
• Proactive, able to troubleshoot and handle organizational change.
